I decided to start Active Lab because I want to offer clients the best possible solution for their training needs in a clean and safe training environment. So many gyms today do not have a client focus and do not put programs together to make their clients successful. Active Lab clients are looking for something more than the impersonal gym - they're serious about their goals and whether they want help gaining muscle mass, losing weight, or want to train to run a marathon, we're here to help. Our personal trainers are highly focused, educated trainers that train for their living. "Hi, it's always more comfortable doing business with someone you know! Friends and family call me Steph, I have 2 daughters, 2 grandkids and enjoy taking my dog and cat on walks with my husband. My fitness journey's pivotal point was in 2007 where I was 230+ pounds. I changed my eating habits and learned how to listen to my body to drop over 100 pounds and participate in my first triathlon. In 2011, I acquired my personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and have since added the ViPR Athletic & 3D group fitness certification, TruFit Level 1 suspension trainer certification, NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) certification, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certification, and most recently the NASM Behavioral Change Specialist (BCS) certification. I have been actively working in the health and fitness industry for nearly 10 years, during which time I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients of various ages and in various stages of their health and fitness journey. I started my work in the fitness industry teaching different group fitness classes – everything from water aerobics to kickboxing! As a personal trainer I have worked with clients to help them achieve their goals in weight loss, sports performance, rehabilitation, and general strength training. Over the years I have learned a lot not only from my education but also from my personal experience as an athlete and a trainer and I design my workouts to be specific and customized to meet the unique goals of each client.
I knew that pursuing a career in health and fitness was my calling from a very young age; I have been ridiculously competitive my entire life and there is nothing better to me than the feeling of pushing myself through a tough workout. I began my personal training career to help others gain that love and appreciation for pushing past their limits and to feel more confident in and out of the gym. I find personal satisfaction in watching a client become empowered by the self confidence they develop from taking a more active and intentional approach towards enhancing their fitness and general well being.
My career as a chiropractor has given me a new perspective on exercise as a form of medicine. I fully believe that a body that moves well stays well and I incorporate functional training and mobility work into my sessions to ensure that my clients stay injury free! I specialize in quickly establishing rapport with my clients and work directly with each client to design a training or treatment plan that they can easily fit into their lifestyle. I consider myself to be my clients' biggest fan and I take great pride in helping people on their own journey towards better health. "I am a San Diego CA native and I’ve brought my lifelong passion for fitness and nutrition to Colorado. I am currently the owner/operator of Peak8Fitness, LLC and I have been actively pursuing my fitness and wellness career for nearly a decade.
I have had a life-long love of health and fitness. I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science while competing at the NCAA Division II level for volleyball.
I have a vast array of experience. I have extensive knowledge of sports performance training [youth-collegiate level], weight loss, injury rehabilitation, nutrition, wellness and increasing general fitness.

"I am a strength coach and personal trainer. I began my journey through helping others with sports performance at Southern Illinois University and Haskell University. I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from many amazing coaches and trainers. I am an avid volleyball player, artist, and photographer on top of it. Oh and I'm a movie geek.
I've been through it all... I've been injured, I've taken several leaps in life and fallen hard. But every time something amazing has come from those ashes whether it be experience, relationships, or advancements financially. I believe that helping others is the only way to a fulfilling life. I feel that anyone and everyone are capable of following their dreams and making every part of them happen. Inaction leads to non-failure which leads to a lackluster life and sticking points. Our goal should be to avoid inaction.
I am a firm believer in failure as an asset. Growth follows failure and nothing in this world has been created without failure leading the way. In order to truly grow and evolve, we must take chances. These chances will either turn into a small failure and or a small win. It's in these small failures and wins that we soon created success. Hi! My name is Rebecca and I am a Certified Personal Trainer dedicated to helping you reach your goals. I am a lifelong athlete with a sports background in gymnastics, cheerleading, martial arts and track and field. With several injuries and rounds of physical therapy in my own past, I can definitely empathize with the pain and frustration that comes along with it. This initially led to my interest in personal training and injury prevention. I’ve had the opportunity to learn and train under physical therapists in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. I conducted concussion research at Boston Children’s Hospital, an interest sparked by my own sport related concussion.
As a trainer, I am always coming up with creative and fun exercises and workouts to keep things interesting! I’ve helped clients of all ages and fitness levels work towards stronger, healthier and happier lifestyles. I prioritize correct technique and try to stay up to date on the most current research. I program with your specific history and goals in mind because the best thing about personal training is that it’s PERSONAL! I believe in the many benefits to training beyond just what you see on the outside. Strength builds from the inside out!

Mike Sieber is a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach who has been in the fitness industry for over a decade helping others achieve their health goals. With thousands of one-on-one coaching and training sessions of experience, he helps his clients deal with whatever roadblocks are inhibiting them from achieving greater success in life, fitness, and becoming stronger human beings holistically. He is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology (C.H.E.K.) Practitioner. His advanced training allows him to help individuals get out of physical pain, improve their posture and performance, and better adapt to life as a human being and the stress we all deal with.
His approach to health centers on each unique individual. There is no one size fits all approach to the complexity of the human body. His knowledge of the stress response, food and nutrition, and bio-mechanics allows him to assess each person and develop a program that caters to their unique goals and needs. Mike believes that each and every one of us can function at an extremely high level at exercise and in life. Mike can create a program that identifies what the client needs to help them recover from injury, sleep better, or train properly for their lifestyle or sport. His years of self-experimentation and studying have taught him that the basics of health and wellness are essential for progress. Getting back to the basics of our health means identifying which habits we need to remove or add for success. He specializes in posture, back pain, movement mechanics, customized nutritional protocols, and optimizing recovery through stress reduction techniques. Techniques focused on moving better, improving strength, deep breathing, and tissue work are utilized to achieve success. Mike believes everyone can perform at a high level athletically, be pain-free, and have high levels of energy naturally by learning to listen and connect to our bodies.
